Day 34

think I may have missed a few days, but Ill try to keep this up better....One struggle we have had lately,( and if your child has diabetes, hopefully you can relate) is with Madi, who is 4, her highs and lows are hard to correct.. Not too much the highs, but her lows..If she is low, but not hungry, its hard to get her to eat..or drink anything....Also her carb ratio is 75, so if she is on target, she can usually get her meal for free, but then how many carbs between meals should I allow, since it all adds up, but when she gets insulin its so little, so sometimes its hard to decide whether she can have something or not...

Craig is pretty easy having his carb ratio being 20, he pretty much needs insulin for anything he eats.. Here he is mowing grandpas yard with the driving mower!! so fun!!! Summer time!!!!

Oh, and we got the prefilled pens from the pharmacy... They looked cool and very them...They do not have half units..lame!! SO lame, SO Craig decided he will just get extra carbs if he needs a half unit.. ..anyway Im sure eventually it wont matter as much, but as recently diagnosed kids, they use half units a lot!!

If you read this blog, leave a comment, for me or for the kids, we would love it!!! Thanks again for reading..

We have readers from Korea, Germany, United States and The United Kingdom!!!
