Day 54

Well as most of you know, our family is gathering donations for the hospital.  Items like crayons, color books, Board books, LEGOs, travel size games...stuff like that to keep kids in the hospital busy and give them something fun to do...

Well today we were filling crayon roll ups with crayons and Madi and I had this conversation:

Madi: well mom, what if they have an IV and they can't color?
Me: Oh, I don't know, but you had an IV and you could color..
Madi: well how about this?..If they have an IV and can't color, and their mom isn't there, WE can just go help them!

She was so excited about her idea too! Oh how I love this little girl..

This service project is really helping our family come together and do something good..It helps the kids realize how blessed we are and how we can help others.

Another thing she has been talking about is the pump.. I had brought it up to her a few times, just to get her mind thinking about it..so when the time came maybe she would consider it.. You see, she has no intrest in the pen which is what Craig uses.. But lately she has had a really hard time getting all of these shots every day.

Yesterday she told me several times (right after her shots) that she wants the pump. At one point she said "Mom, call da doctor now and tell them I want a pump!"
Ya, she is a little bossy:)
